About Us
The Redwood Empire Bass Club is a group of Anglers who meet to discuss fishing techniques and the use of different baits. We have 11 tournaments per year January thru November. In December we have a Club Open. Tournaments are team and draw format for members. Regular yearly tournaments are done on a random draw basis as boater and co-angler. The Club Open allows members or potential members to pick their own partner. The Club is open to everyone from beginners to the more experienced. The hope is to share fishing ideas and experiences to make us all better anglers. Members come from Sonoma, Marin, Napa, Lake County, and Mendocino Counties. The Redwood Empire Bass Club supports Catch and Release. In addition, all safe boating lake rules/regulation of a governing body and fish/wildlife care proceedures.
Our yearly fees are only $60 or pro rated based on the month joining the club. A member is voted in after attending 3 functions.
Our Club fishes different lakes in the area including Lake Sonoma, Clear Lake, Lake Berryessa, and the California Delta. In addition we will fish an away two day tournament at Lake Shasta or New Bullards Bar. In all, it is a great chance to fish with different people and start to understand what bass fishing is all about.
Come check out our Monthly meeting the 2nd Wednesday of the month at Mountain Mikes - 6314 Commerce Blvd, Rohnert Park - 7pm. Ask for room location at front ordering area. At meetings we have guest speakers from local anglers to national pros. There is normally a raffle where you can have a chance of winning some good tackle or gear. We try to give away prizes that are going to be beneficial for the next tounrment. Hope to see you at our next meeting!
